Vintage 1965 Gibson SG JR Electric Guitar. A fantastic playing and sounding example with incredible vibe. Suitable for player and collector alike.Has a wide nut (1 21/31") and a nice slim taper that gets pretty chunky towards the 12th fret. It is super comfortable and plays great all the way up and down with a smooth, quick feel. Original P-90 Pickup sounds amazing. It is bright and clear while still being warm and resonant. Has a super punchy, focused attack, a crisp and tight low end and clear glassy trebles. This ones a real screamer in high gain situations too.Excellent condition with signs of normal, honest cosmetic wear. There is finish checking throughout the instrument, some belt buckle wear on the back, and a couple of small cracks in the pick guard around the screws due to shrinkage. All normal signs of wear in an instrument from this era, and in our opinion they give this one some extra special vibe.Comes in a vintage Gibson Hard Shell Case with purple interior as pictured.Guitar is exactly as pictured.
