This is a brand new, special order 1 of 2 Gibson Les Paul 1968 Reissue in Candy Apple Blue Gloss, with gold hardware, ebony fretboard, and 68 rounded profile neck. Has an ABR-1 Bridge, dual Custom Buckers, and low profile "fretless" fret wires and shown in the photos below. The guitar weights just under 9 pounds. Double bound mahogany body, with arch maple top. Comes with the original case, COA tags, and original carton. Period correct no "made in USA" on the back of the headstock, with the 68 style serial number. These guitars were part of Gibson's reentry back into the single cutaway Les Paul market, after a hiatus since 1961 when the last ones were made prior to 68. The height of the fret wires is so low that the Black Beauty became known as the fretless wonder. Satisfaction guaranteed. Returns gladly accepted if not as described.
