Ok, Yes, it's most obviously a stunning instrument. You don't see many quilt tops this nice but in this case, the best part of this guitar is how it plays and sounds ...simply put flawless! Effortless action, immaculate tone and supremely versatile. If you do not know about Tom Anderson's Switching system you are missing out. This is one of the most versatile and "tweakable" guitars ever made. There are on off switches for each pickup (on off split coil for the bridge) A blower switch and an assignable series parallel split functions.  I will include a ton more info on this so read on...  This is like the Axe Fx of guitars, and it does it all very well too. It's a 2002, in minty shape and has only been used to lead worship for a few weeks. The frets are immaculate too. She's had some major work/upgrades over the years too so read the "long story" for the whole scoop below... Assignable Parallel or Split Function
In the past when you ordered an Anderson guitar you had to decide between series/parallel or series split wiring. But now you can have both with our new Switcheroo.

With the blower switch in the off position, each pickup switch flipped downward turns on the pickup wired in series.
When each pickup switch is flipped upward, you get either split or parallel depending on which function you have assigned to the upward position of each pickup switch. To assign function: On the front of the guitar turn the blower switch off (up) and the pickup switches up. Turn your guitar over and remove the control cover on the lower back. This will reveal three micro switches. Flip switches up to assign split; down for parallel. CHOOSE YOUR OWN FAVORITE COMBINATION OF SOUNDS What is Series/Parallel or Series/Split? How do they sound?? Series/Parallel or or Series/Split refer to the internal wiring of a pickup. Each humbucking pickup is actually made of two coils of wire. When you shut one off you have split, or a single coil. Series links the two coils together creating one long single path. Parallel connects the two coils as two separate single paths. Series and parallel are both hum canceling. "Side by Side" humbuckings in series sound powerful, full and rich--the traditional sound of these pickups. Parallel sounds thinner and brighter, and split replicates a single coil sound. "Over Under" humbuckings produce a rich single coil type sound when wired in series. Parallel is thin, bright and clear. Split is an even richer, full bodied single coil sound.

The 4-switch system on our guitars is quick, simple and extremely versatile. Pickup Switches: Each pickup switch has an off and on switch. Off is the middle pickup position. Flipping the switch down turns on the pickup wired in series. Flipping the switch up turns on the pickup wired in either parallel or split. (The parallel or split function is assignable--see above). Blower Switch: The blower switch flipped up to the off position, allows the pickup switches to function as described above. Flipped down to the on position, the three pickup switches are bypassed and the bridge pickup is turned on full power (series). Example: For a great rhythm sound you decide to have the neck and middle pickups on split. When it's time for a powerful sounding solo, you simply hit the blower switch and play the solo with the bridge humbucker full power (series). When the solo is over, merely flip the blower switch off and you return to your multi-pickup rhythm sound. THE LONG STORY
You cannot order this finish from Tom because I had it done specifically for me by Pat Wilkins in California. Pat did all the intricate finish work for builders such as Suhr Warrior and yes, Tom Anderson plus so many others I cannot count them. He is the best in the business period. When I purchased the guitar years back, it was a red burst in nice shape. At about the same time I had a custom Hamer I came across in a seriously cool DragonBurst. The next day I was on the phone with Tom to about having this guitar finished to match. Alas, TAG does not offer refinishing but he did recommended Pat. So, I want to be clear there were no breaks or issues whatsoever, I am simply a perfectionist and tinkerer and I fell in love with the Hamer finish so I called Pat! To get this finish on the guitar Pat used 4-5 colors and shades ranging from light silver greay to pink, teals and light to dark indigo blues -the results speak for themselves. And the KICKER... It's better in person! This is a one of a kind guitar! 2 years after the refinish I sent the guitar to Tom Anderson because the neck was beginning to bow slightly. Tom replaced the neck with the same exact spec neck as the original. The other option was to steam treat the original but I opted for the new one so again, you basically have a brand new guitar, neck fitted by Tom, Complete refinish for a one of a kind dragon burst from the man who did Tom's finishes back in the early days to begin with so it's all in the family as they say all top notch work. Money back guaranteed!I will entertain cash offers but I have a ton into this guitar with all the upgrades etc... believe me it's worth every cent.
