Here is a Classic Sixties Teisco TG-64 Monkey Grip Electric Guitar. The guitar is in very nice condition, and is all original except for one tuner.
It has just been gone over and had a complete professional set up.
The neck has been aligned, the frets have been leveled and dressed.
The pickups, switches, and controls are working, with no static
or buzzing, and sound incredibly powerful.
Each pickup has its own on/off switch with a master volume and tone control.
The action is clean on every note from one end of the fretboard to the other.
The frets are in excellent shape showing little to no wear.
The adjustable neck is straight with no twists or warping, no strings buzzing,
and still has the original headstock logo intact.
The roller bridge is original and has lots of room for adjustment in both directions. The finish has a few marks that you would expect to see
on a guitar this old, but nothing major.
It doesn’t have a lot of the typical scratches, dings and dents,
and checking in the finish that you would expect to see
on a guitar that is over 50 years old.
There are no breaks, cracks, or repairs, and is an excellent
example of one of the nicer guitars Teisco made.I have tried to show as much in the photos as possible.
