1963 Fender Jaguar
The one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Built in the early 80s these guitars had some appointments similar to a normal Strat as well as some appointments that catered to the rockers from the era. This 83 Elite is overall in great shape and sounds fabulous. Great playability up and down the neck. Cool Strat! Comes with the original hardshell case.   - See more at: http://www.vintageandrare.com/product/Fender-Elite-Stratocaster-1983-Elite-Sunburst-25645#sthash.kJCQRHTr.dpufThe one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. 1963 Fender Jaguar: The Good – It’s a vintage, pre-CBS Fender Jaguar! It plays and sounds great with a fresh pro setup. Original flat-pole pickups sound great, and all wiring/electronics are original with both pot codes reading “3046309” dating both to the 9th week of 1963. Brazilian rosewood “veneer” fretboard, original neck finish with the neck stamp reading “1JAN63B.” Original “single line” tuners, tremolo and trem-arm. Comes with its original brown Fender hardshell case, and is a smoking deal on a Pre-CBS Fender Electric. The Bad – It’s been refinished in black and has a fair amount of wear. It has been re-fretted, and the fingerboard was re-radiused to a modern 9.5 inches. The bridge has been replaced and the saddles have some solder on them. The Ugly – The paint used to refinish it isn’t the best quality, and the re-fret job looks rougher than it is. Both the pickguard and the pickup covers were painted, the paint has since been stripped but left the pickguard and covers looking a little rough. Overall this is an awesome guitar for all the players out there, and sweet deal on a pre-CBS Fender.
