Hi everyone, up for bid is an extremely rare Ovation guitar. This is the Adamas U681T. This guitar is modeled after the original Josh White guitar which later became the folklore model. The configuration is 12 frets to the body, slotted headstock and wide 1-3/4 inch nut. If you are familiar with Ovation Gallery on the internet(Dave Witco), he describes the U681 as outshining all other Adamas guitars that he has played. And I agree - I have played hundreds of guitars and this ranks as one of the best. It has the Op-pro preamp and XLR out. This unique guitar is only 1 of 100 copies made and is truly one of the finest guitars that Ovation has ever made. This guitar is very nearly mint condition. It has one very small mark on the back of the headstock, not a dent! (see picture). I can find no other flaws. The fretboard is ebony and has zero wear. The bridge is ebony also. I replaced the tuners with schaller 24K gold plated tuners as one of the black plastic originals was broken when I bought the guitar. I ordered the replacements direct from Ovation. I will ship the originals with the guitar - I'm just not fond of plastic and wanted the best for this guitar. The gold tuners make it even more unique, possibly one of a kind. The guitar comes with the original hard-shell case which is also in excellent condition. Please examine all pictures.
