ABOUT US: We specialize in high quality, fully-serviced vintage analog synths, keyboards & other used gear.  We're professional dealers as well as musicians.  We know our gear well and treat our customers honestly and respectfully.  We've been on eBay for many years - this is just our new business eBay account.  You can find our old feedback .  Nowadays, we sell most items directly via our website, but occasionally use eBay as well.  Please mark us as a favorite seller and feel free to check us out on the web (just add a dot com to our user name to get there).ABOUT THIS ITEM:If you saw us selling it cheaper, this item is priced approximately 10% higher than what we normally sell it for due to the additional cost of paypal and ebay fees.  Like nearly all the high end vintage analog synths we sell, this item has been METICULOUSLY disassembled, cleaned inside and out, FULLY serviced by professionals who’ve been servicing and selling vintage synths for the last 2 decades, and systematically tested multiple times over a long period to ensure it’s working exactly as it should.  No BS.  No ebay surprises.  We are perfectionists and don’t cut corners.  We want our items to be better than others on the market and paid our tech for 17 hours of tech time to fully overhaul this unit so it would be clean, working like new again and as reliable as possible for its next owner.  This was a serious investment of time, love, and money, and was definitely worth the effort (and this is reflected in the higher than usual price).  If you’re looking for a great sounding example of this model that works just like it should without needing to invest a small fortune in tech fees, this one should make you very happy.  ABOUT THIS ARP ODYSSEY: It’s an original vintage black+orange rev 3 model with PPC, Model 2823, serial number is in the 28231140’s. This mk3 vintage ARP Odyssey came to us in typical condition and received our complete ARP Odyssey overhaul.  We fully disassembled, deep cleaned and rebuilt this unit so it would work perfectly and be clean enough to eat off of and took some preventative measures as well to hopefully keep it nice and healthy for a long time. The keyboard mechanism was disassembled and rebuilt so it plays like new again. Rubber bushings were replaced with new ones, key contacts cleaned, bus bars removed and cleaned. Slide pots were all chemically cleaned and lubricated and several were replaced with other reconditioned vintage Odyssey pots. Switches were cleaned. Jacks were cleaned. The power supply was recapped to extend its life. Tantalum capacitors were replaced for longevity as well. This unit was cleaned inside and out. The proportional pitch control sensors were removed and cleaned and painted with conductive paint. This unit was properly recalibrated and was fully tested. This process took approximately 17 hours of skilled labor to get everything perfect, which is the time a full restoration normally takes when done correctly. You probably won’t find a better working Odyssey out there. We feel this unit looks great for a used vintage piece, but email us for a link to bigger images. Also note that the plastic knobs that sit on top of the sliders on these units ALWAYS crack over time.
