The Blue Book Says:FIREBIRD V REISSUE (MODEL DSFR)
– asymmetrical hourglass style mahogany body, white pickguard with engraved Firebird symbol, through-body nine-piece mahogany/walnut neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl trapezoid inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/stop tailpiece, partial blackface peghead with pearl logo inlay, six-on-a-side banjo tuners, chrome hardware, 2 covered regular or ceramic mini-humbucker (current mfg.) pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), three-way pickup switch, available in Cardinal Red (disc.), Desert Burst (disc.), Cherry (CH, disc.), Classic White (CW), Ebony (EB, disc.), Heritage Cherry (HC, disc.), or Vintage Sunburst finish, mfg. 1990-2009.I Say:At nearly Twenty years old, this guitar is in remarkably good shape. The bodywork only shows a couple of small chips (typical fall damage as expected with this shape of guitar). The neck is free from any damage as is the headstock. The rosewood fingerboard and frets are in great shape.The Mini Humbuckers do that “Bright and Tight” thing that they are famous for. All electronics are fully functional and crackle free. There is a hairline crack in the rear cavity cover, but I can’t find a replacement anywhere Playing the guitar is possibly the most surprising thing about the guitar – it balances really well and feels “oh so Rock and Roll!”The Original Hardcase Comes with very few marks – certainly nothing of any significance, & its pink satin shroud just adds to the whole image.I accept Paypal (preferred), personal cheque , cash on collection and direct bank transfer. Payment must be arranged within 3 days of the agreement to purchase, otherwise the item will be relisted and negative feedback will be left free of charge. Money must clear into my account prior to collection/despatch. The items will be despatched via Royal Mail for small items and UPS for larger items, insured where appropriate, usually within 24 hours of receipt of funds. I'm doing this to raise money to support AIDS orphans in Africa, and 10% of any money I make automatically goes to these children (see for more information).
