Description
Vintage Telefunken Echomixer Released in the early 1960s.
This is pure germanium technology - all point-to-point, built around Telefunken AC122 transistors:
By design this is a 3-in-1 mono mixer with adjustable spring reverb on two channels. This Echomixer has been serviced and augmented by very useful mods, available via additional switches on the rear.Wet only mode: Very handy for studio work, where you'd rather want to use the spring reverb in parallelChannels B and C can be daisy chained: More gain, more germanium grit, the thing goes to eleven!Tone switchHearing is believing - here come the demos.
Echomixer vs. electric guitar (features channel daisy chaining towards the end).AUDIO DEMOS:Here I'm tweaking various knobs and switches, demoing all additional functions.
Note how much growl the 303 gets while I gradually wind up the gain and daisy chain two channels.Parallel processing:Percussion: // Some of the parallel samples are stereo signals.
The Echomixer is a mono device, so I went in two passes for the left and right channels.
No problem with any modern DAW.
Note the very respectable S/N ratio - I let the reverb tails ring out..All audio samples and videos were made with the very unit for sale here.
The Echomixer runs with 220V European power cord.It comes with one adaptor cable for the input: Jack => DIN.The output cable is cinch or jack (adaptor included). So it's all pretty much plug & play.
The 3 extra switches are not labelled, I'm leaving this to the new owner.
See labelled pic of the rear for further reference.Ships as registered and signed-for DHL parcel.Guaranted against DOA.No further warranties because of the vintage nature.
