This is the Music Man StingRay solid body electric guitar. Finished in Vintage Tobacco Burst it has been introduced to the MusicMan lineup for 2016. As you would expect from Ernie Ball it has been beautifully crafted in the USA. For sale online at Guitar.co.uk and in our Glasgow shop. The Music Man StingRay guitar features a rosewood fretboard on a maple neck. This Music Man StingRay guitar is a modern instrument with some excellent vintage features. The problem with vintage guitars is quite often they have quirks and sub-standard hardware. The Sting Ray uses the best of both vintage and modern. MusicMan have utilised vintage specification humbucking pickups for classic tones. They have also employed a super smooth modern tremolo system. It has a classic feel but works better than vintage spec trems. This is also thanks to a set of locking Schaller machine heads. Its African Mahogany body gives this instrument rich sustain. The sound is big and bold. When you want something more gentle is can do that too. Its 3-way switch accesses versatile coil combinations while oversized 4 over 2 headstock with straight string pull provide superior tuning stability. Flawless craftsmanship throughout make the Stingray a perfect culmination of old world aesthetics and styling with modern design and playability.
