Hi folks, up for grabs is a vintage/transition 1969 Fender Twin Reverb amp with factory JBL 120's. This amp sounds phenomenal and has no known issues. Crystal clear transparent tones that start out creamy and break up around 6-7 with reverb and vibrato to die for. This amp is in very good to excellent condition with some small tolex snags and very slight mill scale on the straps that would clean easily. The grill cloth is original and in near perfect condition. The pictures tell the story. With the exception of the black face plate and blue jewel this amp is 100% factory right down to it's original Mullard tubes and two pronged plug. This amp comes with factory re-issue foot switch and the back panel that was removed for photos. If you want it loud and clear this is your girl. Those JBL's will cut through and deliver one of the most iconic sounds to ever come from Fender for any work you have in mind. There are plenty of amps out there but this is the "real McCoy" genuine article that is often imitated but NEVER duplicated. There's a reason virtuoso players like SRV, Allman, Clapton, and Winter chose these old JBL loaded Twin's to gig and record with. Enough said. If you're looking you already know what this is and she will be a spry 50 years old in a couple of years and more difficult to find in this condition. This amp is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I will entertain all reasonable offers. Free shipping to the lower 48.......Thanks for looking!
