FINE HAYNES MFG CO. GRENADILLA WOOD PICCOLO IN ORIGINAL CASE WITH STERLING SILVER KEYS You are bidding on a very fine quality wood piccolo instrument made by The Haynes Flute Company of Boston, Mass. The piccolo is in its original case and has been refurbished. Its history is that its purchased from an estate. The pads all have been replaced and overhaul done. I also noted a split to the wood in the mouthpiece section. It is about 12" in length, however. The flute is marked on the body in the grenadilla wood, The Haynes Piccolo, Wm. S. Hayes Co. Boston, Mass and numbered 8479 and probably dates to about 1925. The marks are shown above.This is keyed to Db.
