The XP-9 is a part of the modern Class Axe series. Like the other XP model (XP-05), it rocks a modern version of the classic LP design, 25-1/2" scale, active electronics and 24-fret fingerboard, coupled with black hardware and plastics. XP-9 kicks off with a single-cut mahogany body with a carved and bound top. The neck is also made of mahogany; it features a heel-less joint and slim profile. The fingerboard on its top is made of rosewood (side dot markers, 24 frets, no binding). EMG`s 81 and 85 pickups guarantee a fat, juicy metal tone, perfect for modern styles and genres.
