This is a demo model Gretsch guitar that is currently on display in the world renowned Gretschworld showroom at Cream City Music. The guitar is in nearly mint condition but does show evidence of being carefully handled and played a few times in our showroom. The guitar will ship as shown with full warranty and all the original factory documentation and packaging. We are authorized to give a great deal on our demo model Gretsch guitars! This is the very cool Tim Armstrong Signature model Gretsch G5191BK from the Electromatic series. This is a very unique Gretsch and is based on the very guitar that Mr. Tim Armstong has recorded with and played on stage for many years. This model and the Billy Duffy Falcon are currently the only modern recreations from the "Baldwin Era" offered by Gretsch. This is one guitar we can unapologetically say is even better than the original! The guitar is a full hollow body arch top with a floating bridge design and parallel bar bracing with a sound post. The sound post adds stability to the structure and increases sustain while allowing the guitar to retain the essential hollow body sound. The neck angle is just right allowing the guitar to be set up with perfect action all along its 22 frets. The playability of the G5420T is great with nice low action and excellent fretwork. The neck is a "C" style shape with a low profile but not too thin. The new "Black Top" Filter’Tron pickups are excellent with full bodied tone and a warm vintage character. The bridge pickup is bright and just a bit "twangy" with a well defined mid range and responds very well some overdrive. The neck pickup is mellow and springy with a more "scooped" tonal character and sounds great when played clean. We are a long standing fully authorized independent Gretsch guitar dealer. This is a brand new factory first guitar and comes with the all documentation and the Gretsch Limited lifetime warranty.
