This one is the most luxurious and popular and best build version made in England This one is from 1991
The "Top Boost with Reverb/Vibrato/tremolo (as on-board effects) VOX AC30 / 6TBR (1991) made in England"in exceptional excellent condition.
The 6 represents six inputs.3 high gain ,3 low gain and
grouped in brilliant/normal/ vibrato there is a volume for every individually and on the brilliant channel you can use the boost > bass and treble knobs TB REV stands for - Top Boost Reverb (this combo gave Brian May of The Band Queen his unique sound)
This is a fully tubed 30watt combo amplifier(with volt selector chose> 120/220/240/current volts) powered by EL84 tubes and 2x 12 inch speakers Celestion G12M 25watt
these are the original greenbacks. These speakers are new and therefore even minimal used .Before i upgraded with putting Alnico Blues as upgrade.but sold them and that's why the Green backs
are new and these G12M the remake of the famous series used by Jimmie Hendrix and shorts. This Vox AC30 / 6TBR was still made in England and and not in other countries like the newer series nowadays are(Chinese made). The amplifier is 30watt but enormously loud if want or play with with a band or live be performed. With absolutely zero damage or signs of use because it is always used at home therefore this Vox in an exceptional new-like condition. The VOX ac30 6TB rev, version build between 90" and 91"is the best Version(the later Rose Morris period) In this period VOX worked together with Marshall ,
especially for the production in the USA .
Rose Morris took a step in the right steps with the new Vox AC-30 models in 1990 and again in 1991. These amps showed significant improvement over the previous models.
That is compared with the late 80" models and earlier Vox ac30 top boost 70" versions so this one here is with the better Marshall print style and replaced the more old fashion style ,Rose Morris introduced this AC-30TBR in 1990 as the"Limited edition 30th Anniversary"
This AC-30TBR (1990/1992) had four ECC83, two ECC82, one ECC81, and four EL-84 tubes. The amp did not have a tube rectifier. It had three channels, Top Boost circuitry in the
"Brilliant" channel, Vib-Trem, reverb, and two 16 ohm 12" Celestion Greenbacks. The cabinet was constructed of particle board and covered in an "elephant" grained vinyl similar
to that used by Marshall in this period also the same switches on/of /standby switch is in the Marshall style. So after this period you got the Korg period working together with VOX after 93"
and now they make VOX these days in China those are cheaper productions.Because I wanted to be sure to have him for you in absolute top condition, I took him to the tube amp maintenance service for a review and revision to refurnish and be
sure of mint new like condition, everything is checked and connections and contacts improved if necessary,
even the wiring the tubes the channels the on-board effects even the foots-switch etc, everything is 100% mint condition upon your purchase.
has always been used at home so therefor the new like look and state sounds round warm very tube-y , nasal penetrating in a band situation with a nasal mid FEQ very hot and class A 30 watt
(that can be hard if you like on on all songs of Queen).
