Ref. #Very Rare 1950's/1960's Melophonic Acoustic "FAUX" Resophonic Guitar Set Up For Slide Playing. Valco Made Instrument. Faux Flame Top Back and Sides w/Original Soft Sided Case Loud and Toneful! Plays Great! Equipped With a Convertible Riser Nut but is Pretty Much Not Playable Without the Nut Riser. Having Said That This Guitar Sounds Solid, Vintage and Legitimate. Clean Too! Unbelievable tone and resonance and records sensationally. The top of the guitar had been lightly repaired at some stage but my tech looked over it and was impressed at how solid and strong the work was. Sturdy as and still rings like a bell. Recently purchased specifically to make a roots record with - and the job is now done. This guitar records amazingly!! I am touring with my own band in Europe in October so the guitar needs to be moved on for more music to be made. I assure whoever buys it will not be let down it is a cracking slide beast :)
