Heather harp-36"/22 strings in bag. This is an inexpensive travel harp or beginner harp. Its bottom note is the same as for the Minstrel. It has 22 nylon strings and has a 3 octave range: from C" to c."There are sharpening levers on all 22 strings to enable the harpist to play in any key by raising the pitch of the string a half-step (ie. F to f#). The strings are coded with the "C" strings being colored red and the "F" strings colored blue. Great teaching harp. 22 strings - 3 octavesNote range of C3 to C6HandcraftedTuning method- Celtic harps are tuned Diatonically, i.e. to a Major Scale.Starting at the bass end, the strings are tuned in the following fashion:C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C-D-E etcBy tuning done this way, all the C notes will be on the RED strings and all of the F notes on the BLUE strings.
