Features The body is an Eastern "Hard" Maple with a Maple top. The neck is Mahogany and fingerboard is rosewood with Trapezoid inlays. With a very vintage looking Lemon finish this guitar is a great addition to our Collector's Choice program. Ultimately it comes down to sound and feel, or vibe of the guitar. The top overall has its share of lacquer checking, as does the back and the rest of the guitar, with some distinctive wear. All indicating it has been a working instrument for many years. The Collector's Choice# 13 is a fitting tribute to one of the original Les Paul's that was to become so inspirational for so many great musicians. Description Product Description Gordon Kennedy's 1959 Sunburst Les Paul that once belonged to John Sebastian, is a really wonderful guitar. One of the things that makes this guitar so nice is the history associated with it. When you think about the use it had with John Sebastian, and the continued use it gets with Gordon, makes it amazing. The top has some very, very minimal figure only at certain angles, but overall, the neck fell, the top carving, the sound and playability demonstrate what exactly it was that made these guitars so iconic.
