JANY / Weymann  Style A tenor banjo. Here is odd duck of a banjo. Ivan Jany  built banjo in Pennsylvania mostly for Mummers I believe. The neck I believe is his and the pot is from an early Weymann Style A banjo. it has the pop off resonator has lots of nicks and scratches, the steps could use some work and one of the felt has been replaced, there is also a adhesive pad that should be removed on the side. The pot has the Megaphonic tone ring. neck adjuster, and tailpiece. The tuners I believe are early Weymann tuners that use a spanner wrench. The neck is 23.75" scale length with 22 frets.  This would be a great restoration  or 5 string conversion or set it up to play as is. Also on the neck are some hole drilled into the bass side of the heel.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me. For in hand description I can be reached at: 203-293-7241
