Tokai Premium Series Les Paul styled Custom in Wine Red Nitro, MIJ. Superb player and great tone. Unusually for an all Mahogany guitar this one has clear articulate notes with plenty of top to cut through.Specs include Mahogany 1 piece top, 1 piece back, 1 piece neck, quality Ebony fret board, Gotoh tuners, bone nut, CTS Bare knuckle matched 550k pots and Bare Knuckle branded caps, Switchcraft switch and jack. Pickups are Faber PAF which are hotter than vintage PAF's with a bright clear voicing. Played clean its very PAF with deep rich tones pulsing through, wind up the gain and you will smile, a lot!! Guitar professionally set up here:www.petewarrenguitarclinic.com/tokai-lc225Few minor dings as you might expect as the guitar has been played a lot, one ding cracked the binding and lacquer which you can just about make out in picture 2 where your forearm would typically rest on the body. Wood has been sealed with layered deep cherry and clear Nitro but I didn't attempt to mask it. Doesn't affect the playability or sound. Neck pickup ring is cracked and re-bonded, difficult to show in photos.Includes original Tokai fitted case.One of the best guitars I have ever played ....List price is around £2k so this is a bargainAble to pack and post, fully insured or of course you can come and collect.
