For those who want the bite of a steel resonator, but the versatility of a wood bodied acoustic, this is an ideal solution. As well as it's stunning good looks it offers a warmer, richer tone than an all steel bodied resonator, but with all the sonic power of National's spun aluminium biscuit cone. Plus at 80 years old it’s a piece of guitar history. Tonally it has grunt and drive when played hard, working well for slide, but can play slow blues beautifully, and has enough twang to please country players. The guitar is in very good condition, with no cracks or repairs. It has a very comfortable feeling V profile neck, and easy playing action. The guitar comes in a non original hard case.
