LOTS OF PICS BELOW, SO PLEASE BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN THE ENTIRE LISTING... This listing is for a LIMITED EDITION 1976 BICENTENNIAL GIBSON FIREBIRD in very nice shape!  An ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS GUITAR! The combination of the TOBACCO SUNBURST with gold hardware is VERY STRIKING! Unlike many BICENTENNIAL EDITIONS out there, this is a true '76...with pots that date from the 52nd week of 1975, to the 8th week of 1976! Careful with these...I have seen some date to 1980, but not this one! All original, right down to the gold banjo tuners, unique strap buttons, and the red, white, and blue FIREBIRD on the pickguard! Amazing atttenion to detail. Just about every piece of hardware is gold...right down to the screws and even the output jack nut! Condition-wise, it's very clean!...but it does have a handful of dings, and some light buckle-rash on back. Hardware shows it's age some in the form of some of the gold platting having rubbed off the bridge, tailpiece and pickup rings/covers. The main issue with it's condition is a crack on back of the neck. It extends from the nut area to about the third fret. I don't know if it's just a finish crack or if it's in the wood, but if it's been repaired in any way it's a very pro job! I've had the guitar for years, and it hasn't gone anywhere and never been a problem. Please scroll down the listing for detailed pics of this area. In addition to it's great looks, it's a KILLER GUITAR! A neck that melts in your hand, and a great balanced set of pickups that'll give you a KILLER BLUES TONE! Gonna miss this one, but I went a little overboard again and picked up a few vintage pieces I need to pay for. Don't forget to scroll down and check out all the pics! There are many! I have taken pictures of the guitar outdoors in bright sunlight to show as much detail as I can. There are some reflections of leaves in some pf the pics, as the guitar is VERY SHINY! The first few pics were taken indoors to show the appearance of the guitar without reflections.
