The Blue Book Says:FENDER AMERICAN SERIES STRATOCASTER (2001-2007, U.S. MFG., NO. 011-7400/7402)
– ash or alder body, 22-fret rosewood (7400) or maple (7402) fingerboard with dot markers, hand-rolled fingerboard edges, six-on-one-side tuners, two-point synchronized tremolo, three custom staggered single coil pickups, five-way switch, three knobs (v, two tone), available in 2-Color Sunburst (2001 only), 3-Color Sunburst, Aqua Marine Metallic (2001 only), Black, Butterscotch Blonde (2003-07), Candy Cola (2007 only), Charcoal Frost Metallic (summer 2006-07), Chrome Blue (2002-06), Chrome Red (2002-06), Hot Rod Red (2001 only), Natural (2001 only), Olympic White (2002-07), Shorline Gold (summer 2006-07), Sky Blue (2002-04), or White Blonde (2001 only) finish, case included, mfg. 2001-07.I say:A remarkably clean example of this guitar – in very good condition. Maple fingerboard and frets are nearly unmarked, just some very minor fret wear in the cowboy chord positions. The Metallic Red bodywork is in very good condition, just a couple of minor chips on the back of the upper horn, and one on the lower bass bout. some almost insignificant bucklerash on the rear of the body (it won’t even photograph!). Unfortunately the original Fender case has gone missing, but it will be packed in a hard case (actually a Peavey ASB case), trem arm is in the case pocket.I accept Paypal (preferred), personal cheque , cash on collection and direct bank transfer. Payment must be arranged within 3 days of the agreement to purchase, otherwise the item will be relisted and negative feedback will be left free of charge. Money must clear into my account prior to collection/despatch. The items will be despatched via Royal Mail for small items and UPS for lrger items, insured where appropriate, usually within 24 hours of receipt of funds. I'm doing this to raise money to support AIDS orphans in Africa, and 10% of any money I make automatically goes to these children (see for more information).
