You are bidding on an absolutely beautiful Yamaha 410 intermediate oboe and case. This oboe was a display model at a local music store and now comes available for purchase. This is a gorgeous instrument! It is a resin instrument with all of the upgraded features - so no chance of cracking like is so similar with the ultra sensitive oboe wood. My own daughter plays the oboe and was playing in the winter, seated close to the door in her band room. Just by someone opening the outside door and a gust of wind coming in, her instrument cracked in the upper joint. Case shows a little wear on the outer cover from storage. I am a real fan of these oboes for their tremendous ease of play and any band director will appreciate the way they play in tune.
