Selmer Series 9 * Bb clarinet. Serial # R9893. The upper joint has 2 stars above the serial number. This clarinet is in excellent condition. It does not appear to ever have been played, as there is no visible wear. Prior to listing, it was completely reconditioned with new pads and cleaning by the clarinet technician here at Meridian Winds. No cracks now or ever. The grenadilla wood is very beautiful and very close grained. It has the original mouthpiece, cap and ligature, as well as the original Selmer Vanguard case. The Series 9 clarinets are revered by jazz players and the * models are said to be a more refined version manufactured to compete with the Buffet R13. See photos. Thanks!
