Description
Uncle Lou here; and you're viewing an original set of Gibson nickel-covered PAF pickups from 1959 as used on Gibson Les Paul standards and other Gibson guitars of the era. If you know ANYTHING about high-end vintage Gibson guitars & parts, you'll know these are the most sought-after vintage parts in the vintage world today. They show a fair amount of tarnishing, oxidation, and minor pitting, but they'll clean up real nice with little effort if that's your bag. The solder is intact which means they've never been opened, the 'L' tool marks are visible on the feet, and all four coils are black. They have very hot readings of 9.2k ohms and 8.3k ohms, and the leads are long enough for either pickup to be used for either position on a Les Paul. Yes these are expen$ive, but sooo worth it...you almost never see readings above 9.0k ohms on vintage PAF's! Please ask all reasonable questions before you bid, I will not accept returns. PayPal is the 'eBay preferred' method of payment, but please make sure your shipping address is confirmed. I also accept 'payment on pickup' as well which saves me the risk & hassle of shipping. Domestic shipping & handling is free for 'Buy It Now' bidders, otherwise it's a flat rate of $10. International shipping & handling is set at $40. For those of you who need more visual stimulation, I have giant sized photos that I can e-mail you, but please don't waste my time or yours; serious inquiries only...no tourists. I've got lots of other parts, visit my website and contact me for more details. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
