This is a completely original 1998 build H-150CM in VGC. The frets have just been leveled by master Berlin luthier Lutz Heidlindemann and the neck is straight and has never needed adjustment. It has never beed gigged, only used in the studio so it has only minor cosmetic signs of wear. All the hardware is in top condition. The body and neck are crafted from custom shop grade Honduran mahogany and produce a nice deep resonance I never got from factory Gibsons. The pick-ups are the original Schaller 7/95-4 humbuckers that I have never found reason to replace. The bridge and tailpiece are also Schaller pieces and have never been problematic. A lot of people prefer to replace these with Gibson-esque tone-pros and Seymour Duncans, as Heritage began doing about 15 years ago, but I am convinced this was for superficial reasons. Anyway, what matters here is the quality of the woods and the quality of the build and you won't find better in a $5000 custom shop Gibson. There are some signs of wear, some buckle-rash on the back side in the clearcoat but not the wood itself, no major gashes, nothing you could spot from several feet away. All the chrome is perfect. The original hardshell case is included. I removed the pickguard but it is included and in perfect shape. It may need a set-up. It weighs around 10lbs. I have developed work-related cervical spinal issues and must go to a lighter guitar. But if I can't get $1,200 after eBay and PayPal fees I will probably just hang on to it. It would cost twice that to replace it. It can be seen locally this week in Berlin Germany.
