This is a rare beauty. This is a Ray-Era Ayotte Keplinger snare drum, in the more rare 6.5 x 14 size. Gorgeous wood hoops and thick stainless steel shell. This drum is HEAVY, so shipping will likely be more than usual for a snare drum. It is a cannon. I have used it sparingly since I got it in about 2000 because it's so heavy I don't want to lug it around to gigs. But, for someone looking for this sound, there is no other. Has new Remo Ambassador top and bottom, and Puresound snare wires.
