Here is a 1998 Modulus Quantum 5 Fretless bass guitar that was built for and owned by Alphonso Johnson. I purchased this directly from him a few years ago and I have a signed letter from him that will be included. This bass has been played and shows signs of touring. There are some chips and discoloration on the neck and marks and dings on the body. I had this setup and gone over by a former Modulus tech and he said everything looked great and it really plays like a dream. It does have some wear on the fretboard from Alphonso using round wound strings. I have a set of half rounds on there now and they could use a change. It comes with EMG pickups and a Demeter preamp that has a reverse phase switch which Alphonso said was a unique sound that he used to use. It comes with a case that I got it with, not sure if it's original or not but it's been used and is a little beat up. Wide Dimarzio clip strap is also included.
