1961 Vintage Gibson Melody Maker Double Cut AwayThis is a 1961 Vintage Gibson Melody Maker in very good condition for its age, the original case is in fair condition as seen in pictures. This is a one owner guitar and is all original. All of the electrics work. The serial number dates it to 1961 which was when Gibson began the double cut away series. This unit has the narrow single pickup design. The guitar is light and is a very cool piece of history. These guitars rivaled the Les Paul juniors but were made to be more affordable.
