Cretan Lyra Stagakis (with hard case, bow and rosin).
Handmade by Stagakis Manolis.The Cretan Lyra and Stagakis manufacturing store of musical instruments are not simply connected but synonymous with the construction of this instrument. The current form of the Lyra was originally constructed circa 1940-45 by Manolis Stagakis but at the same time he changed its timbre. The manufacturing store of musical instruments has now passed to his son, Dimitri and to his grandson, Emmanuel, where he worthily continue the construction of musical instruments with great respect because of the name they inherited and with expertise for over 60 years. The Lyras that 3 generations has constructed and the performance precision of the sound produced by their crystal tone has made the greatest Cretan artists and the amateurs too to prefer us for over 65 years.
Product Description Cretan Lyra Stagakis.
It is entirely made - carved by hand . Back-plate made from maple wood , top-plate cedar, fingerboard cedar,top bridge ebony, down bridge walnut. The glue used is from fish scales ( psarokolla ) and glaze from tree resin ( shellac ) .
It can be used from starters and professional Cretan Lyra players.Including :
. Cretan Lyra suitcase from leather outside and fabric inside, for proper transport and protection of Lyra.
. Bow 4/4 with hair from animal origin.
. Digital chromatic tuner.
. Rosin
