Fender stratocaster ultra early 90's
This is an amazing guitar whichis now getting very limited use and so sadly needs to be moved on
I have been fortunate to own a large number of high end guitars over the years and this is the best of the bunch by far .All the normal strat sounds are there plus so much more in a guitar that is an absolute joy to play
originally advertised by fender as the ultimate Fender Stratocaster....the most versatile strat ever made
The Fender Stratocaster Ultra was Fenders highest end production model, just under the Custom Shop guitars. They were introduced in 1990 and Fender ended production in 1998
They are fitted with Schaller strap locks, and a 2-point american bridge and Schaller tuners, ebony fretboard which showed off the real abalone dot inlays. The Ultra was the only production Stratocasters with an Ebony fretboard instead of Rosewood or Maple..
Early Ultras have become very collectable, as many of the very first Ultras ( such as this ) had a one piece flamed maple top unlike later models
Comes with original trem and original case. Case is not shown as it is at my mums house.
I always use an old case for gigs so the ultras case isin excellant condition.can add photos of this if requiredThis is located in Weymouth Dorset
