Rickenbacker 330-6 in the very rare colour 'Desert Gold', which was a special ‘Color of the Year’ (COY) for orders placed with the factory in 2001 only.  This COY is rumoured to have been based on the colour of Rickenbacker CEO John Hall’s gold Mercedes. Manufactured in 2001, this guitar is in excellent condition, with no discernible dings, marks, buckle-rash or fret-wear.  It comes with special Gold pickguards, though I will include the original white pickguards, if you wish to return it to stock condition. It comes complete with its original Rickenbacker OHSC case, which although in good condition, does have two issues - the internal retaining straps are present but only secured at one end and there is a small (approx. 3 inch) hairline crack on the underside - otherwise, the case is structurally sound and all hinges and locks operate perfectly.  I have been collecting Rickenbackers for many years and have seen very few 'Desert Gold' Rics for sale on this side of the pond - so truly a rare and beautiful instrument!
