Ashantee Music & More We have an amazing French horn for school! This is a Yamaha model 561 in good condition. There are some dents and dings mostly on the back of the bell pipe wear they usually occur, and most of the lacquer wear is on the back of the horn as well. There are no patches, and no signs of major dent work having been performed. Valves are fast and tight with great compression. All tuning slides are free and lubricated. Comes with the original hard case in solid condition but with cosmetic wear. This is an intermediate horn, far better than what you would rent, and a great horn for your student at an end cost which is far cheaper than renting. Closest current equivalent is the 567, which lists at $4,845 and sells new for $3,383.99. Being sold at a crazy low price just because of the lacquer wear, which you could actually strip off the bell with some vinegar and have a gorgeous raw brass horn. Anyway, save almost $2,200 and snatch this one up before Christmas!
