Hi there, Thank you for taking a look at this lovely Stratocaster. It has had the following recent upgrades, work done to it. Wudtone Neck Plate (Vintage High Lustre) and screws £24.99 Wudtone Vintage CP50s tremolo assembly; 1018 Cold Steel Block, Stainless Steel Trem Arm, Wudtone Saddles £128.99 Luthier work; fret levelling, polish, £90.00 Bone nut, cut and fitting £50.00 Wudtone neck plate, trem fitting, set up £50.00 Hiscox Liteflight Case £99.00 Total Value £442.98
The body/neck are both in immaculate condition. Little fret wear. Made in Mexico 2010 serial no mz9509936 If is fitted with the Wudtone MIM2MODERN , Vintage trem ( with Wudtone 1018 cold steel block, 5mm Stainless Steel trem arm and saddles) . This has transformed the dynamic, tone and feel of the guitar. No annoying trem arm slack, no tuning problems and also has been converted to the more playable Modern 54mm string spacing. This has also improved the string alignment over the pickup poles. It is now a huge , big clean , classic pre-cbs sounding, rosewood board, Strat. The guitar is the actual one featured in this video https://youtu.be/Eb2dRSWA3Kk . It will be shipped in a brand new HISCOX liteflight case worth £99. ( unless you don't want it so the price can be lowered) It would suit a Strat player who wants a Strat that is, ready to gig, with genuine SRV style, pre-cbs tone and dynamic ( as well as great tuning stability) at a price point well below any other Strat capable of delivering the same performance.It would be further improved with a set of nice handwound pickups, but dynamically it is at the top of the rosewood fretboard, Strat game.
