£900 Ibanez EGEN8 Herman Li Platinum with Ibanez Prestige Hardcase + Pro Set-up

This Ibanez EGEN8 Platinum Blond is part of my personal stock, no expense spared. The guitar I believe is a 2010 product, so the first production year, going by the serial number. This is the Herman Li Signature Model.The guitar is in excellent condition, barring one unfortunate dent on the front edge. It has been greatly cared for and has had periodic refreshing of the natural wood finish using the correct oils and waxes (no damaging lemon oil).This is an amazing versatile instrument, with 2 humbuckers and a single coil, with coil split via push pull allowing incredible tonal ranges. Please note a quirk with a push pull knob is that when pulled up, the knob can be rotated fully around from 10 to 0 and around again, intentional or not, it is not an issue but simply a quirk when in pulled mode.All you could want in a guitar with a lovely flame, incredible slim and flat neck, amazing thin body that provides great tone - evident immediately even via acoustic testing. Great tuning stability alsoThe Floyd rose has had a recent set up and restrung not too long ago, with the J Craft Prestige Hard case bought early on for protection. The case was for an SA Prestige originally, and in excellent condition, so this slimmer guitar sits a little deeper but not adversely. Included is a genuine leather strap and the Ibanez manual.RRP across all dealers is £709, the Team J Craft hard case and strap pulling to cost to £900.Another regretful sale, this one chosen only because I lean towards fixed bridge guitars currently. Despite this not a "prestige" in name, the neck and flamed maple finish are of equivalent or better than my other guitars.Near offers will be considered, however given this is personal stock there is no rush to sell. Having tried many on this exact model, this one stood out as an exceptional player with build quality of Prestige level and an acoustic tone that distinguished itself as a special instrument.Please get in touch if interested, cash payments and collection options are available.
