1970 Silverface Fender Super Reverb for sale. Export model so works at UK voltage. Converted to Blackface specs by the previous owner's amp tech. Comes with a bag of spare parts that were removed during this process and its last service. Serial Number: A47186 40 watts, valve rectified, dual 6L6 powered amp with the famous and beautiful reverb circuit. Selling due to change in personal circumstances (new baby!) and the fact I mainly use Marshalls these days. I have a Princeton Reverb that covers this side of things if I need it. This is a great sounding players amp, cosmetically its a dog’s dinner! Rips and tears and stains all over the place. The lower rear panel is reinforced with a piece of 2x1. Not one for the collector. It does sound great. I've hired a few of these in the past and this one sounds as it should. It has been gigged constantly by me in the last two years and it has also been used by a band recently at the Green Man festival in Wales. I've recorded with it too and found it to be reliable and noise free. I think 40 watts is the perfect amount of power for both stage and studio use. I only say this as a precaution, its in 100% working condition, I usually service an amp before I sell it and I currently don't have the time to do so due to my new arrival.
