The original Marshall Silver Jubilee is one of the most sought-after tube amplifiers in all of rock history. Their aggressive sound was widely used in the '80s and early '90s by hard rock players of all types. Marshall's reissue started with that iconic design and upgraded it.  And this 2525C Mini Silver Jubilee takes that one step further by putting all of that sound into a more compact combo amp with a usable 20 watts of tube power. The JCM25/50 Silver Jubilee Series was produced in 1987 to celebrate 25 years of Marshall Amplification and 50 years of Jim Marshall being in the music business.  Inspired by this acclaimed series, the 20 Watt Mini Jubilee combo and 'small box' head combine classic Silver Jubilee preamp tone, features and styling in a lower power, 'mini' design.  This contemporary 'mini' take on the Jubilee Series features: an ECC83 & EL34 valve-set, High/Low output switching, (20 Watt to 5 Watt), FX Loop and independent 4/8/16 Ohm speaker outputs. The 2525C combo is loaded with a single 12" Celestion G12M Greenback speaker.  A pull-switch on the gain control adds a significant crunch to the clean voice, while another on the switch on the output master changes channels. The three-position standby switch has two power settings: either full power (20 watts) or low power (five watts). Around the back, you'll find a simple series effects loop, frequency-compensated DI output, and five speaker jacks covering every hook-up possibility, together with a socket for the one-button footswitch that toggles channels. Despite the reduced dimensions, the Mini Jubilee is a top-quality British-made amp that is capable of handling anything you might throw at it.
