I have come into a couple vintage amps and have had them fully serviced before finding them a good home.
This is a 1969 Fender Princeton with original RCA tubes and super clean cab. I put in $279 to have the capacitors replaced as needed, a grounded 3 prong plug installed and general cleaning. Original RCA tubes were tested and are very strong. Pictures says it all, this is a superb amp with vintage point to point electronics.There are a few nicks or small blemishes as can be seen from the pictures to be completely forthcoming. But in my eyes it is staggeringly clean for its' age.
These pics were taken the day before I brought it in. Now for the interesting part.
Turns out the speaker cuts in and out, so this auction will include the original Fender speaker and I will have it replaced with the speaker of your choice. They have recommended JBL or Eminence speakers but it is ultimately up to you. I paid for a speedy bench time so it will likely take 24-48 hours to have the speaker installed for you, if you choose to do so.
If you choose to take the amp and have it replaced yourself, we will work out a better price to accommodate.
