This is my Coles 4040 ribbon microphone that I have had in my office/studio for 3 years on Music Row in Nashville. This mic is absolutely mint condition and works beautifully. I purchased it new when I was looking at signing a male baritone singer. I wound up signing a female instead and we're using condenser vocal microphones. These ribbon mics work well with deep male voices.The Coles 4040 also works great on many other applications where definition in the mid and low range is called for. Horns are amazing! You can pair it with a dynamic and record almost anything. It will give you a clarity in the mid and low range that you can't get with dynamic and condenser mics. Woodwinds are beautiful, piano is beautiful. If you know these microphones and you're looking to purchase, you can take advantage of the lower price on this slightly used ribbon mic that has been cared for and stored in a dust free studio environment. This one is like new. Comes with everything shown here, hard case, bag and shock mount. I will cover shipping inside the continental U.S.
