Gibson Custom Shop fitted hard caseRare and unusual 1985 built Gibson Firebird VII. Believed to be 1 of 3 prototypes built. The Firebird VII was not a production guitar during the '80s. This guitar has the smaller Firebird headstock with mini Grover tuners which I have only seen on other '80s Firebird V and I guitars. An other unusual feature is the lack of belly contour on the rear, again I've only seen this on '80s Firebird V & I models.Excellent condition for age- some lacquer checking around the controls and pickups and some marks around headstock from being held in a stand. No dents or buckle rash. See photos.Serial number is 83195902. Feel free to check it out with Gibson USA.
