Gibson SG Standard 1968. All Original. VGC, Original Case A beautiful example of this classic Gibson guitar. Serial number 911927, pot codes CBA 811 1158 (unusual pot codes but see online info regarding Gibson ‘anomalies’). All original and un-molested with original case. Typical 1968 Gibson SG features: lyre vibrola, slim taper neck, plastic bridge saddles, Gibson deluxe tuners. The condition is exceptionally good for a guitar of this age. It has had some use but has clearly been well looked after. There are no breaks or repairs. There are some superficial marks (see pictures) and buckle rash to rear. The neck is nice and straight and plays very well, the frets are dressed flatter, typical of guitars of this period. The original case is still very sound and even has the original neck strap intact. One of the best original 60s SGs you will find now!
