Description Model: Custom Brand: Gretsch
This has been my main guitar for about five years. I have had a lot of custom work done to it. Custom 2 tone paint job. It came as cherry red and I had some portions painted black to accent it. I installed a graphite saddled bridge because I was snapping a lot of strings. After installed, I rarely break strings and I'm heavy handed. I put a humbucker in the bridge position and a p-90 taken out of a PRS in the neck position. I upgraded the tuners with pearloid sperzel locking tuners. Since it came with a bigsby tremelo bar, this helps keep it in tune a lot better. The stock jack plate wasn't very stable so I put in a flat one from an explorer. I also used Gibson knobs. Also, the pick guard was custom shaped. Everything works great and I've done a lot of shows and recording with it. As mentioned in the condition details, this guitar needs a set up. It's been a while since I've had one done and there is some fret buzzing. Just find the right gauge for you. I have 9-46 installed and then have it set up either DIY or at your local guitar store. It is a light weight, solid body, set neck guitar and that's why I bought it. Very easy to handle a lot of fun.
