This is the Cloud JRS-34 passive ribbon mic that I had re-ribboned by Clarence Kane at Enak Microphone Service. Clarence has NOS (new old stock) ribbon material from RCA and original RCA ribbon cutters and crimpers. This was outfitted with a newly cut and crimped RCA 44 ribbon, and it sounds wonderfully smooth and rich. The original ribbon in it was very nice, but the RCA ribbon is definitely smoother. It was a $140 upgrade.Please ask any questions. Thanks!
