Hello, I am selling for a friend several instruments. He collected for many years. Now you are bidding on a vintage classical guitar lute, built in Japan 1980. Finest woods, the top is solid spruce (or cedar ?), the back is made of rosewood (looks like solid wood), the sides are laminated rosewood. The instrument is very good playable, deep sound. The label insides reads "Juan Orozco, luthier, New York, fabricada en Japon, 1980, No 56-u-289" and the stamp of Juan Orozco, luthier, revisada.
The fretboard with 19 frets (condition: good) is made of ebony, no markers. Majectic head, the tuners work well, the bridge is stable. The neck is straight and good playable, the action at the 12th fret is 4mm (e1) to 5mm (E6). Newer nylon strings, very good sound, fine and deep. Total length: 1010mm, scale length: 650mm, width of the nut: 52mm, width 12th fret: 62mm, width of the body: 375mm. Included is a newer bag, good protecting.GOOD TO VERY GOOD CONDITION! Only small signs of use like damages to the varnish, no cracks or separations.
A fine piece for the player or collector.
