Strat collectors know the MIJ Strats from the 80's are considered the best built. Leo Fender was quoted as saying so! This one is in great shape with all electronics, tuners, and trem system working perfectly. Great tri-color finish with only a few light scratches & minor dings (see photos). The EMG active pickups really make a difference...from scream to cream tones (9V battery located under pickguard behind Volume & Tone controls) . The Fender System I locking trem made by Schaller makes this guitar stay in tune consistently, even during the most dramatic dive-bombs. 5 position switch gives you great tone variety. Maple neck has great action and frets. "E" serial number makes this Strat a MIJ classic! Comes with Whammy bar & SKB hardshell case. A great addition to your collection (I have 4) !
