Rickenbacker 620 electric guitar in Fireglo. Opening the spotless 'as new condition' Rickenbacker case for a first time reveals the true beauty of this 2008 rickenbacker 620 guitar. In viewing this sale you will already be aware of the originally crafted 'crested wave' design. The body, neck and pick up finishing are 'sheen' perfect. The pictures highlight a few tiny hairline cracks in binding at a few points but, this in no way affects the playability of the guitar and are barely visible. The guitar has never been gigged with and comes from a 'pet and smoke free home.' The case retails alone around £200 and is a superb design in excellent condition with the plastic still over the name plate! The guitar was professionally set up again with hybrid strings last month which allow a beautiful sustain feel with the neck running through the body. I haven't really explored the 'ric o sound' fully but plugged into my small orange amp the guitar has a great 'rounded tone' and super feel on the glossy, unworn rosewood neck. Nice. I am also including the original 42 gauge Rickenbacker strings incase a set up back to the original can be explored.
Everything is included in the case. Rickenbacker cloth, genuine truss rod wrench (£30) and glossy literature. The guitar retails at £1,395 UK new and the condition of this example is very good indeed. Please do ask any questions before purchasing and I will endeavour to answer these. The guitar in my opinion (and many other ric lovers!) is a true classic and great example of the both original and creative Rickenbacker USA line.
