The Fender Standard Stratocaster Candy Apple Red Maple is a solid body electric guitar from one of the best loved guitar manufacturers in the world. The Fender Stratocaster Mexican model is now even better than ever. The upgraded maple neck now includes a glossy maple fretboard which adds longevity and increased play-ability. The hardware has been upgraded to a fantastic blend of modern functions and vintage styling. For sale at Guitar.co.uk online and in our Glasgow Shop. With a perfect blend of old an new features this Standard Series guitar is a real performer. The modern C profile neck features a satin urethane finish which feels great to play. It has plenty of grip without being sticky. The gloss maple fingerboard has been fitted with medium jumbo frets and 9.5 inch radius. This gives the Fender Standard Stratocaster Candy Apple Red Maple the perfect balance of comfort for playing chords with not too much radius curve. You can set the action a little bit lower without notes choking when bending the strings. The Fender Standard Stratocaster Candy Apple Red MN has been given some great looking vintage style parts including an upgraded Synchronized Tremolo. This mirrors the look of the American Standard Series guitars. This is an electric instrument capable of a wide variety of tones. The three single coil pickups have been dropped into a 3 ply parchment pick guard and housed in an alder body. The body has been given a polyester coating which is durable and gives this instrument a high quality finish. For less than half the price of the American Series the MIM Strat really is a bargain. For many players it is still the most comfortable solid body electric guitar of all time and has spawned many imitators. There is only one Fender Stratocaster though and it is still the best. The Candy Apple Red version is a stunner.
