Linndrum LM1 in excellent cosmetic condition I purchased a long time ago knowing some of the percussion sounds didn't work, with the intention to get it on the bench and repair but unfortunatly I haven't had time. I don't really want to sell but I am relocating so if the reserve is made I will say good bye. These are getting quite rare and even in poor condition can fetch a fair price, this example has all the original knobs and slider covers. Included is a printed user manual, these are available online but a paper copy is so much easier to read. All the main sounds work how they should, Bass Drum 1 & 2, Snare 1, 2 & sidestick, Crash, Ride 1 & 2, Clap, Tamborine 1 & 2, Cowbell, Hi Hat 1, 2 & open, Cabasa 1 & 2 The fault is with the Toms & Conga, neither work, I think the trouble may be around the tuning area although the Snare tuning works great, I'm not sure if the Hi Hat decay works how it should as I don't have anything to reference it to but the knob does change the Hi Hat sound. In it's current condition it is more than useable, excellent original Linndrum beats. I have powered up prior to listing, programmed some beats and that side of everything seems to work fine. I have had this machine for many years but it's not been used apart from sampling some of the sounds, I never read the manual so I'm not familiar with the programming side of it, was on the cards to sit down and play but I never got the time. Both output channels work but I haven't checked the individual outputs. I hope I have talked you out of bidding, I really want to keep it. I have set the postage as £30, UK mainland only, collection in Hayes Middlesex is prefered as this is heavy and delicate, If posting I would recommend insurance at additional cost, I don't have details of postal insurance that can be up to you. If the postage is cheaper I will refund the difference As mentioned these are getting rare, fully working examples with knobs missing have sold for over £2000, I've set the reserve at £800, as this is the threshold to release my sentimental chains, I have sold analogue kit in the past and regreted it, I will probably regret selling this too.
