Description Product Description This PRS Hollowbody II is part of PRS' limited "A La Cart" Core Model guitars. Over the summer, PRS offered specs normally only acailable on Private Stock and Artist Package models, so we were able to make some really unique guitars. Finihsed in an eye-catching Black Gold, this HBII is specially accented with a Flame Maple neck and rosewood fretboard. It features a carved figured maple top and back with mahogany sides. The maple provides a crisp, snappy response, the mahogany helps balance out the lows, and the hollow construction provides warmth and depth. The flame maple neck and fretboard is spotted with black outlined Bird inlays and 22 frets. It's PRS's Pattern carve, so it's very round and comfortable. Electronically, this guitar is decked out with PRS's 57/08 pickups. These were wound with the same wire that was used to wind some of the most coveted American pickups from the 50's. There's also a LR Baggs Piezo that can be mixed and matched with the 57/08s, giving you endless tonal options. The PRS Stoptail bridge and Phase III Locking Tuners keep everything in tune very well and make for easy string changes.
